I am extremely interested in exploring the ways in which society has ravaged women's feelings about their bodies. I am currently immersed in the process of photographing and painting women of many sizes, shapes, ages and races. I love painting the sensuous forms, curves, dips, valleys, rises, imperfections - all of it. Capturing the flow of light on the body excites me no end. I love it that the women I paint don't necessarily have perfect bodies, nor are they young nymphettes, ready for Vogue. Instead they are wise, wonderful, sexy women full of love for themselves and their bodies. What a treat it is to paint them!
